Derrick + Virginia: Kenosha Pass

Fall comes and goes quickly before winter arrives here in Colorado: the aspen trees turn yellow within days, the air begins to cool with a crisp breeze, the sun rises later and sets earlier. It is also a unforgettable time to get perfect memoirs. Derrick and Virginia always get excited when the Colorado fall season approaches. To them, this is there favorite season of the year. After meeting with Derrick and Virginia before the session, we were confident that the reason why they love the Colorado fall so much is because their relationship represents the fall season: bright, spontaneous, beautiful, and unforgettable. We could not wait to be capturing this exciting season with them! They had warned us in advance that they were going to bring props for the session. Unaware what they were bringing, we could only gather ideas with excitement as we witnessed the magical colors approaching Kenosha Pass. Turns out Derrick plays the guitar! And tagging along between Derrick and Virginia was their precious pup named Nova. We had a blast capturing breath-taking photos for their engagement! The lightening, color, and sweet Nova were just perfect for their engagement photos. It got really cold towards the end of their session, but that did not stop us from capturing the photos they had envisioned for their Save the Date. Congratulations Derrick and Virginia!
