Do Small Things With Great LOVE

Are you a Starbucks drink?... Because I love you a Latte. Haha :)

Valentines Day is less than a week away and we all know what that means:

Chocolate

Flowers

Fancy Dinners

Love

Hearts

Smiles

Kisses

Hugs

Engagements, etc.

When Sam and I reminisce on Valentines Day, we are reminded that we do our best to have a "Valentines Day" more than just once a year. It might not look like flowers, chocolates, a fancy dinner type scene, but just as simple as watching a movie on the couch together, going on a walk, or going out to Cold-stone to get ice cream. We cherish the small moments together that impact with great love for each other throughout the year. For us, we devote one night a week amongst the craziness and commitment to others. Just the two of us. There may be some weeks we may spend it just sitting down and reflecting on the week, but that is our small thing consumed with great love for each other every week throughout the year.

Doing small things with great love goes a long way. That spark is reignited each day/week that only keeps the fire glowing stronger. Our love, laughter, and romance is everlasting and never failing. Our devotion, encouragement, and faith is never ceasing.

As we prepare for engagement and wedding sessions this year, we continue to engrave this practice even in our photography business. Building relationships and sharing our story is just a small part of our love for this business. We want to share our clients "Valentine Day" moments too. Not just in a photograph, but a story that is heard, shared, and practiced. Because isn't that what our memoirs do? ;)

The small thing with great love conceit about this business is that, well, we don't really wanna have jobs -- we just wanna have relationships, laughter, and everlasting memories. That's what we wanna do with our career, yes, but that's what we wanna do with our time.

What is your favorite thing to do on Valentines Day with your significant other?
